Canna Bros. Dispensary

amity, OR

A cozy retail spot that blends the surrounding residential area with the buzz of the nearby commercial district.

The Cannabros brand aims to be an inviting and accessible spot for everyone, creating a welcoming and approachable atmosphere for both newcomers and regulars. By keeping the building smaller in scale, they seamlessly blend into the surrounding area ensuring a comfortable and convenient experience for all visitors.

Harka worked with Cannabros to bring their vision to life, enhancing both their brand and customer experience. By integrating thoughtful design elements, we helped elevate Cannabros into an inviting and memorable destination for their customers.

This project drew inspiration from its Pacific Northwest origins, showcasing a warm aesthetic with an abundance of rich wood elements. The open wood rainscreen was a way to bring that warmer PNW feel to the exterior while also creating an iconic entry for the building and the brand.

The warm wood elements seamlessly carry into the interior, featuring a tongue and groove ceiling and exposed wood trusses. These natural materials create a cohesive aesthetic, enhancing the inviting atmosphere throughout the space.

The clerestory windows bring in plenty of indirect light, bathing the space in a gentle glow that fosters a bright and inviting atmosphere. They offer all the advantages of skylights while avoiding the additional upkeep and heat gain typically associated with them, making them the perfect choice for this project.

The building was designed to meet its current needs while also being easily adaptable for a wide range of future uses, ensuring this retail spot can thrive long after Cannabros. The building’s adaptable design ensures it can evolve with future needs and tenants, promising longevity for years to come.

The thoughtful approach to this project not only enhances Cannabros brand and customer experience but also ensures the building's adaptability, promising a resilient and enduring presence in the community.
