Canna Bros. Dispensary

STAYTON, OR

Harka’s first ground up cannabis shop attempts to uplift the surrounding architecture

The large playful gables provide ample area for future signage, while uplifting the traditional language of the surrounding gabled structures.

The back display can be locked after hours, reducing the amount of products that need to be moved into vault at close.

The entry space is compressed with a low ceiling before one enters the airy vaulted sales floor. Large scissor trusses were a budget friendly way to create vaulted ceiling. The stained concrete slab and wood ceiling add warmth and welcome to the space. The open plan allows all areas of the sales floor to be visible and is ready to display non-cannabis merchandise.

Fiberglass storefront windows were used because their thermal performance is superior and the embodied carbon much lower than conventional aluminum. The south facing windows are shaded with traditional overhangs to lower cooling loads.
