Cully ADU
NE Portland, OR
This 720 square foot ADU sits atop a 1,010 square foot accessory wood shop, metal shop, office, and bathroom. The Dwelling Unit above is a one-bedroom unit with a double saltbox vaulted ceiling. Both units are heated with a hydronic in-floor system and take advantage of passive heating with generous openings to the south. The owner was very hands-on in the project and not only poured his own concrete countertop, but was instrumental in the city’s reduction in regulations and fees for ADUs.
